VRSF 3" Cast Stainless Steel Downpipes

For your 2014+ BMW M3 & M4 with the S55 Engine

We are proud to introduce our VRSF 3" Catless Downpipes for the S55 F80/F82 M3 & M4 which are one of the only downpipes to feature a cast stainless steel v-band to pipe transition. These 3" downpipes are the best bang for the buck mod available for your S55, with gains from 25hp & 30tq when tuned. By eliminating the restrictive catalytic converters in the factory downpipes, backpressure is reduced significantly which results in faster spool, an increase in power & a more aggressive exhaust note.

Rather than necking down closer to the turbos like most of our competitors, our 3" catless downpipe feature a full 3" design up to the last couple of inches of the pipe which allows an increase of flow. Our 3" downpipes are hand crafted from SS304 stainless steel and include a lifetime warranty & our "No Hassle" satisfaction guarantee which includes fitment & defects. Grade 12 installation hardware is included with purchase.

We also offer ceramic coating services on these utilizing Cerakotes High Temperature Ceramic coating, made to withstand temperatures up to 1800F. Please note that while we do offer a lifetime warranty on the downpipes, we only offer a 1 year warranty on the ceramic coating services due to the nature of the product.

  • Adds 20-25 HP to the wheels & 25-30 TQ to the wheels.
  • CAD/CAM designed cast flange for seamless flange to pipe transition.
  • Hand made from mandrel bent, tig welded 3" 304 grade stainless steel.
  • Smooth radius bends to decrease turbulence and increase flow.

Superb Product and Customer ServiceReview by Jimbo26

I love this product; high quality sound and performance. The VRSF downpipes are married to my fully Dinan modified car; I chose Dinan because quality is more important to me than having a bit more power. I received quick feedback before my purchase and subsequent to installation; I will purchase from VR Speed in the future. I strongly recommend this product! (Posted on 3/25/17)

Love the more aggressive tone and added spool sound.Review by yellowssm

Love the more aggressive tone and added spool sound. Super loud with valves open on a cold start. I didn't notice any extra exhaust smells with windows down as i'm still all oem exhaust. It seems a little more raspy at WOT but it doesn't bug me at all. With valves closed and cruising it doesn't sound any louder than stock which is a plus for me. Well worth the price!

My VRSF fit perfectReview by CaryTheLabelGuy

My VRSF fit perfect. I guarantee they make power as compared to the other brands. The downpipes are perfectly smooth on the inside, especially around the v-band flange, where most other brands have an abrupt step-down. I am waiting to get back on the dyno to see how much I picked up from the VRSF downpipes, but I can certainly feel it on the butt dyno

Love them and have great build quality with nice welds. Went in fine with no issues. Love the extra waste gate noise from these. I also had VRSF downpipes on my e92 335 and they were perfect on that car too, so I'm happy with VRSF

Would 100% recommend.Review by jjp1008

So my first impressions will be a little tame to start with. Unfortunately it's been raining in Central Florida for what feels like a month straight now, and today is no exception. I haven't really been able to get on the throttle yet without the tires completely breaking loose. I did check out the sound however when I got home to my garage.
As of now I have 0 rasp sound, seems like everything bolted up and sealed nicely. To the previous poster who mentioned the rasp, I'd maybe check the exhaust gaskets to make sure they're in good shape, as generally that's where you're going to notice air leakage causing that sound. If they're fine I'm not sure what else it could be.

Anyways, I still have the stock exhaust for now (will be changing shortly, still evaluating options/sounds) and I have the valve controllers unplugged, so the flaps are always open.

Throttle response is much improved over stock, that's probably the most easily apparent change I've noticed since they were installed.

I drove it for a little while on the highway as well as around town with the windows both up and down (when the rain let up long enough) and noticed absolutely NO smell whatsoever. I've seen that question asked many times, and from my experience with these pipes as of yet no smell, which is a good thing.

Exhaust, though stock, is noticeably louder. Has what sounds to me like a deeper growl, maybe it's just the placebo effect of adding something new and thinking of immediate results, but to me it sounds awesome.

Again, I got the ceramic coated ones which, in my opinion for an extra $100 is definitely a no-brainer.

I'll try and get a video up today of the exhaust note, as well as under-hood footage to try and show off the sound.

Overall, for the pricepoint and improvements I've noticed thus far, I can honestly say VRSF hit a home-run with these pipes. Would 100% recommend.

oh, and also i didn't get a CEL as of yet (I know, it's coming lol)

This downpipe will not disappoint!Review by EdgeCrusher
Overall Rating
WOW... is all I have to say... I just got my downpipes installed and it took about 2.5 hours. I had been reading a lot from people about what the downpipes would do but I have to say it really changes the car.

SOUND - With my AWE resonated exhaust, it changed the tone... It's not as deep as before.. the tone of it reminds me of a cross between a piped 335i and a e92 M3..... It's very hard to distinguish exactly what this sounds like. The car still has the AWE signature pop and crack which puts a mega smile on my face. What's best about this exhaust combo is that it's still very quiet when I want it to be this is probably the first car that i've had where the exhaust is all done and it's still stock like quiet when I need it to be. If anything compared to stock, not hammering the gas i'd say it has on max a 5 -10 db gain. WOT that is a different story this thing SCREAMS and when I say scream I mean screams like pissed off gorilla.

FIT- Fitment for the car was perfect as VSRF says, it really goes to say they know their stuff.

GAINS- My butt dyno hasent told me much yet, I am running Map 2 that had a 91 Oct mix with 3.5 gallons of E84. When I picked up the car I discovered this shop had 102 Oct at the PUMP! So I topped it off with some of that. I will post dyno numbers when I can find a shop to do it.

In closing, This downpipe will not disappoint!
